We made it over the giant bridge into Savannah Georgia!
After entering into the downtown market shops area, we rode up beside Vinny's pizza, and with BMX bike in tow we met a soon to be friend, Jordan that is known to make the best pie's there and in all of Georgia. He offered us a place for the night, we drank some beers, played dice games with the house locals, and shared stories of friends of friends and felt a little taste of home. Mia made friends with Emma their brendal pit bull and was jelouse of her sweet jacket. At the end of the night we crashed on a 70's sleeper sofa, a nice change from our camping gear and had a great escape from the outside chill.

Up for grabs boat, soon to be Jason's, and the view from our nights stay in

About to set sail on a south Atlantic Voyage to the keys and central America...
We shoulda caught a ride

Riding along side a busy, almost highway road right outside of Savannah we met two awesome sailboat punks who offered us a place to stay where they were stashing and fixing up there boat. We shared beers, Minnestoa harvested foods and stories of past, present and soon to come adventures. Cheers to making new friends along the way!

Welcome to Brunswick, now wheres a mexican resturant?
All we wanted was free chips and salsa to fill up on and we came 5 minutes too late to an open mexican buffet and round 2 of chips were extra.

Keeping the food safe from gators and Florida Panthers, and the stray pet semetery cat.

Borrowed butter for some first time pocket rocket made pancakes, no spatula needed
Best breakfast on the road yet, but many more to come.

Welcome to the sunshine state
We had to ride another 8 miles into the town of Yulee to find a place to rest. All I wanted was a Burger King, but after reaching Yulee it was another 3 more miles. Sonic was a closer choice but apparently it could'nt cut it down here and was destoyed. In the end we found a Whataburger, Jason's first one ever. It was delicious, we got extra onion rings and we were happy again.

Sketchy spot behind some construction site = Perimeter line,

What's up Charleston!

From here to there, by Fort Sumpter

Read in the local paper an AT&T van hit a cyclist and threw him off  a Charleston bridge resulting in DEATH,
we'll be careful (car back!)

Making money
We got a moving job from Dana's sisters work. Not bad for 4 hours of manual labor
BOOST, p.s we split the money
Aww dang look who we ran into at Folly Beach
For real a random meet up visit with Danielle, Thomas and her boyfriend Michael down here in Charleston. We later Camped for FREE at their site in James County Park and got Wine Drunk while playing Rumi... Jason wasn't worth shit the whole next day.

First Flat Day 12

What mia does during bike repair

Made $56 fixing a flat at Walmart :)
Good things happen to good people we believe. After all the wind throughout the OBX and southern NC, we caught a 2 mile ride to the closest Walmart and decided to fix the flat there. People were continuously passing by wondering what we were doing and checking out Mia and her ride, so of course we let them know. Everyone thought our adventure sounded great and proceeded to help the cause in ways they wished. Many thanks!

Carolina Beach Fort Fisher Ferry Ride, boost

The food
This looks like a massive amount of food but riding all day makes you way hungry. This night we were lucky enough to stay in a hotel and we stocked up on the free breakfast they offered, apples, bagels, bananas, condiments. And we hit up the grocery to stock up on essentials like Peanut butter and
oodles of noodles, a must!

The foods home
Can you believe all that fit into this one bag, thanks to jason master packer and carrier of the goods.

Killing time Drying The tent

After a long night of rain in Wilmington NC, we stayed dry in the tent but had to wait till around 12 in the afternoon to pack up so our stuff wouldn't be soaked. This is in our first warm showers hosts backyard. Many thanks to her hospitality and Knowledge. We later stopped at the awesome bike shop she works at, Two Wheeler Dealer. If your ever in Wilmington Look em up!
