Updating is a chore as of latley so here's what we've been up to

Our second warmshowers family from Jacksonville FL, minus one member :(
Met my grandparents in St. Augustine, FL. They hooked it up with a couple nights stay in a hotel and some great food and drink both nights. Thanks guys, love you.

Toured St. Augustine a bunch, here's one of the sick cannons they had at the fort we explored.

St Augustine museum, one of the first steel, pedal powered bicycles.

First package on the road, Thanks Kitt West.

Occupy...
...Gainesville!

University of Florida guerrilla camping next to the music hall, woke up to tubas at 7 am.

same spot different angle.

Tie em up and hope for the best. This is what we do when we want to explore a town.

Awesome riding spot at a church between here and there.

I swear this campground was in a Friday the 13th movie from the 70's

Inside the creepy campground tavern.
Poor Mia got the shaft at the springs, she had to stand guard at the trash can
while we explored the clear waters of Ichetucknee Springs.

View of the springs at the south entrance of the park, we saw baby snapping turtles and fish but the water was too cold to take a dip in, maybe if it were earlier in the day. Next time...

Start of a delicious meal... right before I spilt the hot oil all over Jason's arm
while trying to flip the spring rolls on the camp stove, damn.

The end product, Vegetarian egg rolls with Indian masala and rice. He forgave me and let me eat some in the end.

Lots of weird nosies all night with no one around, just waiting for someone in a hockey mask with a machete to come walking out of the woods.
Jason coming up from behind with a new roadside find, what could it be ?

A mini Alligator foot, oh so lucky!

So its rained over half the time we've been in Florida, Thanks a lot sunshine state
Nice full pipe to the right under the bridge, it was corrugated though so we didn't stop.

Met this guy (Nicoli) at a campground in Perry, FL. He's French and didn't speak much English but we figured out he was riding around the world by himself almost finished with the states and onto Peru next. Awesome

This day was great, wind at our backs and a beautiful view of the gulf of Mexico for most of the day and I found my own sick machete. Days like this are why I'm on this trip.

Dana and Mia enjoying the view, and the speed.
Next to an old ship in the sponge Capital of the U.S, we probably should've taken showers there.

The machete I found on the side of the road. Seem to get less mean honks from cars riding with this on my bike and feel safer at night camping in sketchy spots.

Visitor center in Port st. Joe great nights sleep under this place, would of taken a picture of our camp spot underneath but we had to escape before daybreak.

Caught this thing two days ago.

The gulf has beautiful fine white sand, no dogs on the beach though

Mia and Dana's super secret camp spot one night.

Spaghetti sauce meal from scratch on the camp stove, at the hotel.

Don't cook inside! Or do it with two fans on and the door propped open.

Tasted so good. all in all under 4 dollars too.

The Rig still holding up super solid and looking quite good if you ask me.

Apparently I never get comments on my bike like Jason does, But i think its pretty rad here!
Where we are tonight, Pensacola FL. We came in off of a 3 mile bridge and stopped over to see jumping mullet fish on the water and a train come in and pass over Graffiti Bridge, Pink because of breast cancer Awareness month.

Until next time!

We made it over the giant bridge into Savannah Georgia!
After entering into the downtown market shops area, we rode up beside Vinny's pizza, and with BMX bike in tow we met a soon to be friend, Jordan that is known to make the best pie's there and in all of Georgia. He offered us a place for the night, we drank some beers, played dice games with the house locals, and shared stories of friends of friends and felt a little taste of home. Mia made friends with Emma their brendal pit bull and was jelouse of her sweet jacket. At the end of the night we crashed on a 70's sleeper sofa, a nice change from our camping gear and had a great escape from the outside chill.

We shoulda caught a ride

Riding along side a busy, almost highway road right outside of Savannah we met two awesome sailboat punks who offered us a place to stay where they were stashing and fixing up there boat. We shared beers, Minnestoa harvested foods and stories of past, present and soon to come adventures. Cheers to making new friends along the way!

Welcome to Brunswick, now wheres a mexican resturant?
All we wanted was free chips and salsa to fill up on and we came 5 minutes too late to an open mexican buffet and round 2 of chips were extra.

Best breakfast on the road yet, but many more to come.

Welcome to the sunshine state
We had to ride another 8 miles into the town of Yulee to find a place to rest. All I wanted was a Burger King, but after reaching Yulee it was another 3 more miles. Sonic was a closer choice but apparently it could'nt cut it down here and was destoyed. In the end we found a Whataburger, Jason's first one ever. It was delicious, we got extra onion rings and we were happy again.

Sketchy spot behind some construction site = Perimeter line,
Invisible at night and adds a little peace of mind
